What's new with Internet Assistant v2.0z?
Over the past several months we've been working hard to provide users
with a variety of new features in Internet Assistant for Microsoft Word
for Windows 95. Listed below is a list of features that are new from version
1.0z.
- New Language Version! We now have another version of Internet
Assistant that works with Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, and Swedish
language versions of Microsoft Word for Windows 95.
- Automatic Graphics conversion- Now when you save Word documents
as HTML, Internet Assistant will convert graphics to .gif images automatically
and place them in the same directory as the HTML file. This feature now
exports most OLE objects to the GIF format as well. (WordArt is not exported
by this feature at this time.)
- WYSIWYG Table column width- We have added a switch that allows
you to preserve the layout that you see when you create HTML tables in
Internet Assistant. Use the 'Table/Cell Width and Spacing' dialog to toggle
this functionality on and off (it is on by default).
- Automatic Color coding of HTML source code- With a single mouse
click, Word will automatically apply different colors to your HTML tags
so it's easy to recognize tag names, tag attributes, and attribute values.
Select View/Source and click on the Auto
- Support for 32-bit versions of Word- Internet Assistant version
2.0 supports Word for Windows 95 (version 7.0) and Word 6.0 for Windows
NT. Word 6.0 users for Windows 3.1 platform should learn about Internet
Assistant version 1.0z.
- Improved Forms functionality
- Viewing support for borders and border width to any image
- Faster Import of HTML documents-Many Internet Assistant for
Word users asked us to improve the speed of our product. Great news! Internet
Assistant for Word 95 is a 32-bit add-on for 32-bit Word. This means faster
HTML import and browsing for you!
- Faster Image Downloads
- View HTML Source Command-You asked for it, now you've got it.
This feature gives you one click access to your HTML Source so you can
see exactly what your document looks like in raw HTML form.
- More robust round-tripping of unknown HTML tags

- Automatic Protocol Detection- When browsing the web with Internet
Assistant, users need not type the "http://" or "ftp://:
